Delivery / Redelivery Services

In the event you find yourself in a breach of contract or outright default situation, Aeronautical Systems is ready to provide rapid, airplane repossession services.

We’re also extremely proud of our high success rate in repossessing airplanes from foreign countries. In fact, our rate of success is 100%. We’re available to retrieve airplanes anywhere, anytime, foreign or domestic, friendly or hostile and can depart for the destination on a moment’s notice. We arrange everything, from flight crews to record retrieval experts to aircraft security.

ASI has effectively handled repossession of jet airplanes operating in foreign countries and has overseen numerous post-repossession maintenance and storage programs.

We understand the value of retrieving all associated historical records with the airplane– even if it means additional risk. Many firms can retrieve your airplane but can’t obtain the historical records. We can, and do, because an airplane without historical records is just another pile of scrap aluminum – almost worthless. Let us help you strategize and limit your exposure to possible losses due to errors and/or missing maintenance records.

We also perform delivery/redelivery services for airplanes and have with total value at more than $220 million, including newly manufactured commercial jets, as well as heavy maintenance oversight for 26 turbine powered airplanes.

We give you all of the services necessary for airplane delivery or redelivery, following lease termination. Our service includes delivery/redelivery inspections, contract adherence, historical record retrieval, record auditing, flight testing and repositioning (ferry) flights. We reduce your risk during this period, because we’re well aware of aircraft lease and return provisions and the importance of evaluating the condition of the returned airplane.

We boast an abundance of contract review know-how. The language included in the “Maintenance and Operations” and the “Return Provisions” section of your lease agreement will directly affect the physical condition and future worth of your aircraft.

Moreover, if the language is vague and doesn’t include precise redelivery requirements, the degraded value at lease return can be devastating. It can also escalate your costs and the timeframe associated with the redelivery process. We work closely with aviation attorneys in the development and negotiation of return provisions to maximize the benefits and future asset value to the client.
