Aeronautical Systems, Inc. offers full-service, accurate and personalized aircraft appraisals. We have performed and published technical inspections and appraisals on hundreds of aircraft with cumulative values approaching $2 billion. Our appraisals are accurate, comprehensive, reliable and cost-effective.
We have the ability to appraise an individual aircraft, fleet or an entire portfolio–running the gamut from twin-engine turboprops to the ultra long-range Gulfstream and Boeing business jets.
Constant review of reports
Our appraisal reports are constantly under review to verify their conformity with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) requirements and will always meet or exceed the standards of the American Society of Appraisers.
Additionally, we consult with you, our client, to determine your specific valuation needs and criteria, including retail, wholesale or liquidation value with retrospective, current or prospective effective dates taken into consideration. Our reports are readable, concise and easy to use. We believe a well-written report is as important as the right value and we spend significant time on both.
When we assign a value, we stand by it! Everyone wants to know the truth about value, but to some, it is absolutely essential. If you’re going to court, arbitration or dealing with a sophisticated and knowledgeable opposing party, you can’t afford to be wrong. You need to know that the value we provide is correct and defendable. That’s our specialty and professional responsibility to you, our client.
Sub-contracting is out-of-the-question at ASI
We know accuracy and consistency is paramount, which is why we personally handle all appraisals. All aircraft physical inspections and historical records reviews are performed by “in-house” personnel to ensure appraisal integrity, accuracy and client confidentiality.
Quality and condition determination is subjective, which necessitates an inspector with significant experience for the model and category of aircraft being inspected. Consequently, all our appraisers are licensed by the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as airmen and/or aircraft technical specialists. Our method of inspection has been tested and is paramount to the appraisal process.
We don’t send airline mechanics to inspect corporate aircraft or vice versa. You engage ASI and, as such, our personal commitment is to you, our clients.
Access to all key data
We also enjoy direct access to all the necessary research data: FAA Airworthiness Directives, current Type Certificate reports and manufacturers’ technical data. We additionally have compiled accurate airframe inspection, engine overhaul, exterior paint and interior cabin refurbishment cost data.
Flexibility is key
Our highly sophisticated valuation process enables us to appraise an individual aircraft, a fleet or an entire portfolio. Our aircraft valuation services extend from small short-range twin-engine turboprops to the ultra long-range Gulfstream and Boeing business jets.
Our clients rightfully call for appraisal and surveillance reports that are definitive and all-encompassing. That’s why ASI’s published reports, clearly identify complete aircraft description and valuation methodology, including:
- full delineation of value,
- definition of the appropriate approach to value,
- complete photographic presentation,
- current market value in different marketplaces and
- full disclosure of facts and any limiting conditions.
The selection of an aircraft appraisal firm is a very important decision in achieving a realistic, unbiased value, which is void of any conflicts of interest, bias or providing the end report recipient, “just what they want to hear.” Let the professionals at ASI provide you with uncompromising value when it comes to complete inspections and record audits of your aircraft assets. Our attention to detail and accuracy is unmatched.
